Sometimes you just know when something's good. We did a photoshoot for the marketing image for the Theatre Royal's production of MANSFIELD PARK on Friday. The young actor/model we used was called Jessica Pyatt and she was just fabulous. Look her up on Spotlight - she's really great. The pictures were shot by Perry Hastings and I'm hopeful that everyone will think they're as terrific as we did when we were shooting them. It's so great [and so rare] when a plan comes together.

The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds has commissioned me to write a new  'live interpretation' promenade tour of the building for performances in August this year. I've finished the first draft and am going to sit in what remains of the afternoon sun before I settle down to the nit-picking job of proofing it. The project is called Backstage Past - Access all Eras!
