Training
I work, on a frequent basis, with the Jon Harris Partnership facilitating and delivering training to a range of business using a variety of different methodologies. The training is designed for both corporate and charitable sectors and is wide ranging and diverse.
Additionally, I was the architect for the TRAIN scheme at the Theatre Royal which has seen the development of structured opportunities for work-based training in the arts, and particularly theatre.

Leadership
I have been fortunate enough during the last 21 years to have lead three very different organisations as Artistic Director and Chief Executive as well as holding several responsible leadership positions in a number of other arts organisations.
- In 1991 I went to The Angles Theatre a community theatre and arts centre in Wisbech, North Cambridgeshire
- In 1993 I moved to The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre in Taunton, Somerset where I spent three happy years
- In 1996 I took over the leadership of The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. After fifteen years I like to think that my legacy is tangible. The organisation has a developed profile, particularly for its work on Restoring the Repertoire™ a project which has seen the revival of a significant number of plays from the 18th and 19th century. I also lead the organisation through an award winning major restoration project at a cost of £5.3 million which was delivered on time and to budget.
- Between 1991-1993 I was Vice Chair of the Cambridgeshire Arts Forum
- Bewteen 2003-2009 I was a Board Member of the Wakefield Theatre's Board of Management
- In 2009 I was awarded the Theatrical Managers Association's Manager of the Year Award
