Leadership
I have been fortunate enough during the last 21 years to have lead four very different organisations as Artistic Director and Chief Executive as well as holding several responsible leadership positions in a number of other arts organisations.
- In 1991 I went to The Angles Theatre a community theatre and arts centre in Wisbech, North Cambridgeshire
- In 1993 I moved to The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre in Taunton, Somerset where I spent three happy years
- In 1996 I took over the leadership as Artistic Director of The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
- I am currently the Artistic Director and CEO of The Production Exchange which I founded in 2012. I am stepping down early in 2026 to focus on my creative work and project management of other people's projects.
- Between 1991-1993 I was Vice Chair of the Cambridgeshire Arts Forum
- Bewteen 2003-2009 I was a Board Member of the Wakefield Theatre's Board of Management
- In 2009 I was awarded the Theatrical Managers Association's Manager of the Year Award
